Hi Everyone,

"Quick, come on in, there's a storm coming!"

It was the school holidays and I had 5 of my grandchildren and they were all having a great time playing outside, making a lot of noise and having fun, when I noticed the black clouds in the sky a then the thunder started and drops of rain began. If they heard the thunder they would have come running in but they were louder so they
continued playing. I continued to call them all in as they ran inside one by one.

As I thought about the day later that night, it reminded me of Noah and the Ark, how God had called them to build the Ark and go into it before the flood began, which destroyed everything outside the Ark. I'm sure as Noah was building he was ridiculed and mocked as he told them why, but he continued and he and his family were saved from the flood. (Genesis 6)

Same with Lot (Genesis 18. 19:1-29)  God sent His angels to call Lot and his family out of Sodom & Gomorrah before it was destroyed by fired burning sulphur.

It's the same now, God always calls out before destruction, He always gives us a chance.
There is a storm coming, that storm is the tribulation time in the book of Revelation, we can see it's close because the clouds are getting quite dark, but there's a little saying,

"The darker the sky the brighter the stars will appear!"

That's us, God's people are the stars shining in a very dark world.

When I called my grandchildren in, the drops of rain were beginning to fall a that's what's happening now. In the midst of the darkness, the Holy Spirit rain is beginning to fall, touching people's lives like never before.

Jesus is our Ark, our refuge, our Salvation John 3:36 says "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for GOD's wrath remains on him."

In Jude 23 it says, “Snatch others from the fire and save them...”
We are called to snatch people out of the fire, the storm, the coming destruction, Jesus commanded His disciples many times to “Go”... to go preach the gospel, to heal the sick, etc.

Nothing has changed, we are to bring as many in as we can before the storm starts.
But what if they reject the invitation to receive Jesus? Well, that's not our responsibility is only to 'go' as Jesus said.

So I ask you today...
Do we have any family friends that we need to call in? Any neighbours?

In fact, anyone we come across is an opportunity to reach them for Jesus. Let's make the effort to reach as many as we can and take them with us to be with Jesus for eternity.

“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15)

Read Mark 16:15-20 it's written to us!
