Hi Everyone,

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, ‘This situation is just impossible!’?

I know I have! And yes, it may be impossible for us in the natural but we have a Supernatural power on our side! We have the God of the impossible! But do we believe that? I mean really believe it?

So, maybe let’s look at what HE’s done before:

  • Well, HE created the Universe, put stars and planets into place! That’s not a bad start! (Genesis 1)
  • He gave Abraham a son at the age of a hundred when Sarah, his barren wife was 90! In Genesis 18:14 the Angel of the Lord says to Abraham, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
  • Exodus 14:21-29 HE parted the Red Sea and made a road for the Hebrews to cross!
  • In 1 Kings 17:4-9 – HE used ravens to feed Elijah!
  • Joshua 3:7-17 – There was the Crossing of the Jordan on dry land! And let’s not forget the Walls of Jericho! (Joshua 6:8-20)
  • Daniel 3:7-27 – The fiery furnace and Daniel 6:13-23 Daniel’s night in a lion’s den!
  • Ezekiel 37:1-14 – HE turned a valley of dry bones into an army!
  • Jonah 1:17 – 2:10 – Jonah’s experience in the belly of a whale!

Ok so that was all Old Testament but what about the NEW? Now remember Jesus was God in the flesh, and everything about Him was miraculous from His birth to HIS death and resurrection! Everyone HE touched or touched HIM received their miracle! Some HE didn’t even touch, HE just spoke the WORD and they were healed and set free!

Like Lazarus (John 11) and the blind and mute (Matthew 9:27-30). What about Walking on the Water that’s quite impressive (Matthew 14:22-33)! And the Women with the issue of blood and raising up Jairus’ dead daughter (Mark 5:21-43). In Luke 17:11-19 – the healing of the 10 lepers! And what about the feeding of the 5000 (John 6:5-14)! I could go on and on!

Read Hebrews 11 and the gospels, in fact, the whole Bible is full of miracles! Well, what about now? You may ask, does HE still do the impossible now? In Malachi 3:6 God says “I the Lord do not change", Hebrews 13:8 says “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

So, what’s changed? Maybe we just don’t expect to see the impossible today?

I personally have seen a couple of women, unable to have children, give birth to healthy babies! And a young woman healed from asthma, and one raised from her death bed, and more!

So, what do you think? “Is anything too hard for the LORD?”

Jerimiah 32:17 says “Ah, Sovereign LORD, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for YOU!”

Every time we try to rationalize a miracle, we miss the opportunity to see the power of God at work.

In Matthew 9:28 Jesus asks “Believe ye that I AM able to do this?”. In Jerimiah 32:27 God says “I AM the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?”.

So, what do you think? What would your answer be?

“God who still divides the sea, willingly will work for thee; God, before Whom mountains fall, promises to hear thy call.” (by M.E.B)
