Hi Everyone,

‘Who is that man on the cross? And why?’ she asked. Well let me tell you, He is Jesus, the Christ, the Saviour of mankind. He came to save us from our sins which led us into eternal death. His death and resurrection now leads us into eternal life for all who accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. When we do, all our sins are washed away, forever! And if that wasn’t enough, we have healing for every part of our being, body, mind, emotions etc. Now that’s good news!

In Isaiah 53:5 it tells us that ‘…By His stripes, we are healed.’ (Read Isaiah 53:1-12). That means completely!

Isaiah 9:6-7 tells us of the coming of Jesus and then in Matthew 1:21 it says “She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name JESUS, because He will save His people from their sins.”

So, it wasn’t God’s last-minute decision, He had already said what Jesus was coming at the beginning of Genesis 3:15 and He continued to tell us all the way through the Old Testament. Check it out, it’s amazing, yet the majority missed it when He came.

Nothing has changed, many celebrate Easter but have missed the real meaning of why Jesus hung on that cross. Easter eggs, hot cross buns, holidays, bunnies and chickens etc. have all taken over and stolen the meaning of HIS sacrifice on the cross.

Ephesians 1:7 says “He is so rich in Kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave us our sins.”

Read Ephesians 2:4-8.

“That’s what Easter is all about… an exclamation of gratitude and praise for the resurrection of Jesus Christ and for the salvation, His victory over death brought us.” (by J. LoMusio)

“The resurrection is God’s ‘Amen!’ to Christ’s statement, ‘it is finished!’” (By S. Lewis Johnson)

This year as you celebrate Easter with your yummy hot cross buns and easter eggs, remember what Good Friday and Resurrection Day are all about, and tell it to your children and grandchildren and then celebrate with praise and a heart of gratitude to our LORD and Saviour!

In John 20:28 Thomas called Him… “My Lord and My God!”

Let me ask you today… what do you call Him?

He gave all of Himself for you!

Does He have all of you?

The Cross of Victory! (Poem)
The Cross, the Cross on Calvary,
My Saviour, Lord there hung.
In pain and shamed for you and me
Right there the victory won!

The cross, the cross on Calvary,
My sings were washed away,
While in a cold and lonely tomb,
His torn body lay.

But on the third, He rose again!
Alive forevermore!
Sing hallelujah, Praise the Lord!
Christ has won the war!

So now lift up your eyes and see,
Upon His face set gaze,
My King, My God, My Saviour Lord
Is coming soon! Hooray!
(by G. Amoruso)

God Bless you all and have a wonderful Easter!
