Hi Everyone,

Recently the Holy Spirit spoke to me about our need to keep refilling every day and continually. I had a vision of how people had filled their jars of oil last year and then just gone back to sleep.

1 Thessalonians 5:6 says "So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded."

Jesus said "Be prepared..." (Matthew 24:42). This is speaking about the rapture and His second return, which we don't know when it will happen, it could be today or a few years away but that's why we need to be ready at all times.

In Matthew 24:44 Jesus said "Be ready..."

In Matthew 25:13 He says "Stay awake..."

In the vision some were asleep, some were carrying rancid oil that they'd got years ago and some had never been filled.

This is speaking about the oil of the Holy Spirit.

In Leviticus 27:20 God says to Moses,

"Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually... Aaron and his sons must keep the lamps burning in the Lord's presence continually." (v.21)

So we are to keep refilling with the pure oil of the Holy Spirit to keep our lights shining as we do the work Jesus told us to do, until He returns or takes us home.

Later that day I had another vision and I saw a man white-haired with stubble, dressed in white with a stethoscope around his neck, like a doctor. He was standing in the foyer of the church.

I believe God was showing me that He is sending out His angels to check the heartbeat of each church.

Some may be beating healthily, yet some may be dead, many are probably in between, neither dead nor really alive, only barely beating.

I was then reminded of the seven churches in the book of Revelations,  Revelations 2 & 3 have a read.

Which one are we? Jesus said that if we are neither hot nor cold, just lukewarm, He would spit us out of His Mouth. (Revelations 3:16)

I don't want to be spat out, do you?

I think it's time to get back to our first love (Revelations 2:4) and regain our passion for the Lord.

Have a read of these scriptures.
